On safari-- wildlife and nature photos

Guest photographerGeoff Gates

We live only a few hundred kilometres apart in Australia, but I didn't meet "Gatesy" until one morning at breakfast in Harare, before we joined up for a walking safari in the wilds of Zimbabwe
Geoff had a few safaris head-start on me, and I'm grateful for the experience that he happily passed on. No doubt our shared nationality had a lot to do with this, but I'm sure our taste for safaris designed for the less pampered traveller played a big part too.
This is a small selection of Geoff's favourite photographs.
